The Return of Super Charlotte!
Axe World
Thanks to Mike E., creator of Rusty and Co. for today's guest episode. Malachai and I actually did work on a similar idea where Axe Cop builds his own theme park, but it never felt finished. Still may do it one day.
Well it's about time to get back to Axe Cop gets married. I have an awesome two-part guest episode from Thomas Martin that I really like, so I think I will post that next week as the final week of guest episodes. We will do both parts, tuesday and thursday.
I'll close all sales on www.AxeCopWedding.com on June 5th. If you want the print or the sketchbook, this is your last chance to get them!
One more thing. The amazing Doug TenNapel and the gang that brought you the game Earthworm Jim and the Neverhood are back together and doing a kickstarter for a new all stop-motion based game called Armikrog. You gotta see this beautiful animation, you will definitely want to back this:
Back From Honeymoon!
Big thanks to Jeff Mumm for today's episode! Check outmore guinea pig craziness at www.JoeGP.com
Well I have returned from the forest and have cell phone reception. I went on a pretty magical honeymoon with my now wife, Jessica. Though life is crazy and I am trying to catch up I continue to float in the happiness of the last week, which was definitely the best week of my life. The wedding was amazing, pretty much perfect. Everything we had hoped for and more. Thanks a ton to those of you who helped me pull it off! With your help along with other gifts from family and friends this wedding and honeymoon happened and Jessica didn't have to spend a dime. It meant a lot to me to give her the wedding of her dreams and not make her pay for it herself. I feel very victorious. Of course now I am diving into the order fulfillment phase.
I am still taking orders at www.AxeCopWedding.com until the last day of May. You have 10 days left if you want to get the sketch book, screen print, or be immortilized in the comic. Honestly, I need to sell more of the books and the prints to make the print run worth paying for printing.
A lot of amazing things happened while I was gone. One of the most amazing is this new trailer released by FOX for the Bat Warthog Man episode of the Axe Cop animated series:
Honeymoon!
I am posting way in advance, so when you read it I will have already gotten married and will be on my honeymoon when it posts. This comic is by James Ratcliffe, who I knew from the days I used to visit Drink n' Draws in Portland, OR. He teamed up with some younger relatives to produce this tale about Axe Cop and Sword Cop. See more of James's work on his website.
Also, you have until the end of May to order this print! It is only available through the wedding campaign. Here it is all done!

Guest Month Continues
Today's guest epsiode comes courtesy of “MitterMak” and “Tuesday Moon”. You can find more of their work at http://www.purplesockstudios.com/
Im gearing up for family to start pouring in as the wedding approaches on Sunday. Thanks again to everyone who has helped me pull this off! I managed to put some more time into the print. I am doing a shadow layer. This is not the final color choice, I am just using gray for now. I'll choose my colors later. You have until the end of May to pre-order this beast! (and help me pay for my honeymoon in the process)
Next time I post a comic I'll be all married up!

Pink Dragon
I love when guest artists join forces with their little ones to make their Axe Cop guest episodes. That is exactly what Michael Regina did with his four year old daughter, Story in this guest episode. Michael and Story are making their own book of stories together right now and you can back it on Kickstarter:
Thanks, Michael for giving us a little side adventure while I'm taking the month off for my wedding and honeymoon. If you are a comic artist and would like to contribute a guest episode, email me at info@axecop.com.
update: New Rugburn motion comic is here!

See you in a month!
Alright, this is your cliffhanger. Axe Cop has just dumped Axe Girl, so how is he ever going to get married now? That is an important question, but consider it is less then two weeks away from my own wedding, the more important question for me is how am I going to keep posting pages during this time I will be surrounded by family,, finalizing wedding plans and going on a honeymoon? Answer: I can not. So I have some guest epsiodes that have already been submitted that I will post on Tuesdays during the month of May. If you would like to contriute a guest epsidoe just email it to me at info@axecop.com. If I have enough content I will post somethng new every tuesday. If I get extra I will post Fridays as well.
Also, this will be the last month of the AxeCopWedding campaign. At the end of May I will begin to fulfill the orders, create the sketchbook and do all the things you asked for when you ordered your registry items. This is your last chance to get yourself a copy of the sketchbook and the excludive print only for wedding backers. I look forward to continuing this story. Next time I do, I will be a married man. Thanks for keeping up with this story, and thanks for giving me a month off!

Bad Karma
Late post today, but the good news is I had a great meeting at Cartoon Network today that I can't even talk about (has nothing to do with Axe Cop). But, today's episode is here, it's done.
AND I finsihed inking this print! I am going to add a layer of one color of shade to give it a little more color and dimension, but here is the line work. You can buy yourself a copy of this print HERE through May, then you can not get it.
That's all I have for now. I'm pretty pooped. Thanks for reading my comics.

Legos and Tattoos
Well, only one more week of Axe Cop comics online until I take a break for my wedding and honeymoon in May. That will also be the last month the Axe Cop Wedding sketchbook and print will be available at www.AxeCopWedding.com.
I don't know if I mentioned this yet, but Chris Hastings (Dr. McNinja) and I interviewed one another recently over at the Dark Horse Blog. We did this once before and we have both had a lot of fun doing it. We tend to ask each other questions we don't normally get asked in interviews so it makes for an interesting conversation.
I had a fan named Jake Fahy send me this awesome image of his lego Axe Cop and Wexter:
And, I can't remember if this is the first Axe Cop related tattoos I have seen, but it is definitely the coolest:
That's all I've got for now. See you Friday.

No Jabs
I'm curious if anyone will guess what martial arts film star that is based on in the center panel. Poor guy.
Rugburn is back with another episode of the Moon Warriors. I have to admit when they ran this episode past me it didn't dawn on me that it's an INVISIBLE fire shield, therefore you should not be able to see flames. That is why I tried to draw the ninjas faces burning off without fire on them in the first place (which was super awkward). I guess we can say that thanks to movie magic the flames are now visible. Seeing the fire dumptruck in action was as awesome and terrible as expected. Please enjoy…
