Welcome to Axe Cop’s new web site!

To debut the new Axe Cop site, Axe Cop ZERO has been posted. It was written chronologically after Axe Cop 4, so that is why it is listed in that order in the episodes (also because it involves time travel and makes more sense when read after reading the episodes before it). This is the origin story of Axe Cop where we find out about Axe Cop’s childhood and what drove him to fighting crime. Malachai and I had just been watching “Batman: Mask of the Phantasm” the day he wrote this, so you may catch the Batman-like vengeance element in the Axe Cop origin story.

A HUGE thanks to my good friend Anthony for making this site possible, I think it’s really cool. Please share the Axe Cop comics using the various social networking links on each episode or on the full site. If you use Digg or StumbleUpon please rate our site and get others here.

I also invite you to comment, and Ask AXE COP a question. Future episodes will feature Axe Cop answering questions sent in by readers. You can also check out the Characters page to get a run down on the ever-expanding cast of the Axe Cop saga.

Also, if you haven’t seen it yet, watch the video of Malachai and I writing Axe Cop 3 here.

Thanks for checking out the site, please send us your comments and questions and let us know what you think. In the mean time, Axe Cop 5 is in the womb and kicking.

Axe Cop VS The Evil Singing Tree

My brother Isaiah made this video at Christmas time after I showed him Axe Cop 1. We showed it to Malachai and he was horrified… watch:

I had to convince Malachai that the tree was evil and Axe Cop was defeating it. So when we were writing Axe Cop 4, he worked in the evil singing tree as a bad guy… of course all he does is sing really annoying, but he still gets chopped down and burned with a magnifying glass and a flash light.

Axe Cop Interview

Here is a video of me interviewing my five year old brother Malachai about the story for Axe Cop 3. You get an idea of our writing process here. Some of the details in the story were taken from other conversations, but I wanted to capture the kind of brainstorming we do and I also wanted to capture how Malachai pronounces avocado “aducado”, and destroyed “extroyded”.
